Parent orientation will take place on Wednesday, November 16th from 6:15 - 7:15pm and we will be around until 8pm to answer any questions you may have. |

If
you are interested in ordering the new black and gold singlet and
would like it in time for Christmas you must place you're order with
KV Sports prior to November 18. Also
keep in mind that there may be some that will be sold at the Matcats
Swap from Nov. 9-16th. |

Starting Wednesday, November 9-16th during practice times we will be holding a Matcats Wrestling Swap where you can buy or sell used wrestling items.
The club will only be accepting:
The New Team Singlet – Black/Gold (No singlets from past season)
Headgear
Shoes
Knee Pads
Directions for selling:
1. Place item in plastic ziplock bag
2. Name and Phone Number of owner
3. Price asking.
4. Items and money must be picked up by Thursday, November 17th at South Lyon East Wrestling Room between 6-8pm. Items and money not claimed will go to South Lyon MatCats. |

Cost $175 Price includes insurance, practice 2-3 nights/week, 3 MMWA tournaments and experienced coaching.

First I would like to congratulate Austin Havlin, the 7-8 year old 77 lb State Champ! In a bracket where the top three could finish in any order, Austin showed huge guts needing a pin to win the state in his final match. After scrambling to a 4-4 tie after the 1st, Austin caught his opponent and tightened it up until the pin was completed.
Second, I would like to congratulate Noah Entyre, who busted through his bracket with a 4-2 record for 4th place with his only losses being to the top two finishers. Noah, a first year wrestler who I secretly call "Kid dynamite", completed his first year with a 20-4 record with all 4 losses coming to the top two wrestlers in his division. Great job Noah!
